Tor Treste map is a mix of parkland and urban area. The area used for TRAIL-O is completely inside the park area, and there's basically no climb. Trails are paved and unpaved, generally large, but they can be quite muddy under severe rain. The course will stretch under the amazing roman aqueduct.

The participation to the Paralympic category is reserved to those contestants with a permanent physical disability (included hidden ones) which causes a significant disadvantage if competing for any of the other three Orienteering specialities. The Paralympic category will be included in the Open Elite category so that all contestants taking part to the former will be automatically signed up for the Open Elite and their results will be valid for both categories.
